Today I had the honor of presenting the Black Rifle Coffee Company America 250 Red, White & Blue Box to two people who embody what it means to serve something greater than themselves.

Officer Andrew Einsel of the Columbus State University Police Department and his fiancée, Firefighter Kristina Pietsch of Columbus Fire & EMS, represent the very best of our communities. Every day they put on the uniform, answer the call, and willingly sacrifice time with each other and with their children so others can be safe.

Service isn’t measured by headlines. It’s measured by the quiet sacrifices made every single day—the missed birthdays, late nights, holidays away from family, and the unwavering commitment to protect complete strangers.

I couldn’t imagine a more deserving family to receive this box. Thank you both for your dedication, your selfless service, and for reminding us what patriotism truly looks like.

America is stronger because of families like yours.
