This past weekend, the CSU Rodeo Team wrapped up the season at the University of Wyomings college rodeo hosted at the Hansen Arena.
When the dust settled, athlete Olivia Process brought home the average win in the goat tying. She tied two impressive times - a 6.9 and a 6.6.
McKinlee May went into the weekend sitting 3rd in the barrel racing. After a knife fight of a barrel race, she bumped down to 4th. We are so proud of her hard work and know she will be back at the winners circle next season in all of her events.
Speaking of winners circles… the CSU Women’s team had some impressive finishes this semester. At the 76th annual Skyline Stampede they were the reserve champions of the weekend and at the UW rodeo finished 3rd.
This year the CSU Rodeo team just missed qualifying for the CNFR, but regardless of how the points worked out in the end we are proud of the progress this year and are very excited for next season and what the athletes will bring to the table.
