Singing on Tap

Did you know that Christmas Caroling didn't really become popular until the 1800s? Caroling in public was actually outlawed for about 20 years in the early 1600s!!! Caroling was made more popular thanks to William Sandys who collected seasonal music from all over England, publishing a collection of over 100 carols! Some of those are still sung today including "We Saw Three Ships," and "O Come All Ye Faithful."
