Augustin grew up in France, where he trained in culinary before continuing his baking journey at a renowned bakery in Montréal. We’re lucky he’s called The Bread Chic home for years, sharing his passion and talent through every buttery, flaky croissant that comes out of the oven.

Over the past six months, Sophie has joined him in the croissant department after transitioning from our pie department. We love cross-training our team because it gives our bakers the opportunity to learn new skills, master different parts of the bakery, and continue growing in their craft.
