Come check us out at New Belgium this Saturday! We are hoping to run into batman again! Tandem Squared Rolled Ice Cream & Coffee Cafe will be in the vendor fair and several of our employees will be in the artisan market!

30% of sales between 3:00 and 7:00 pm will go towards Del's fundraiser for her Brazil Service Volleyball trip -- to help contribute towards the service-minded cause of the Brazil trip overall. Her club has arranged everything so that players can participate for as little money as possible, but it is still expensive! We are hoping to help Del attend, AND to help offset the cost of the trip for other players, AND give any extra to the efforts of clothing, toys, and food donations.

We are so proud and humbled by this amazing community of humans we have. Thank you for being incredible people and supporting young people like Del!

This afternoon we were supposed to choose one coloring contest winner… but after much deliberation, the judges decided that everyone who entered deserves a prize!

If you entered, expect a text from us soon — and there will be a gift card waiting for you at the register.

Because at Tandem, we’re better together.

While our plights are different, we recognize the shared struggle of living as part of a disenfranchised community—one that throughout history, and still today, is often ignored, minimized, or intentionally hidden from what’s deemed “normal.”

This Friday, we will be lighting a candle in solidarity—holding space for those living in fear for our country and our communities.

We also want to be honest. In protest, many businesses are closing and many folks are choosing not to shop—and we deeply respect that. At the same time, our little shop cannot afford to close, and our staff cannot afford to lose a day’s pay.

So we invite you to seek comfort, warmth, and community with us tomorrow. If you’re able, we kindly ask that you pay in cash.

Stop by in the morning for a cup of coffee, or come by after the protest at noon to warm up. Our doors—and our hearts—are open. 🕯️☕️
