2025 took us around the world. We spent time in Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific — exchanging ideas, soaking in place, and bringing fresh perspectives back to our work. Back home, we were engaged in designing structures that enrich public spaces and collaborating with peers on an innovative building that pushes our collective thinking forward.

Alongside these projects, we were committed to meaningful community involvement — volunteering our time, listening, and building relationships that matter.

In a fun collaboration with a building owner dedicated to breathing new life into abandoned downtown buildings, [au]workshop designed a modern second-floor apartment with industrial touches and an ultra-cozy ground-level bakery and cafe. Happy New Year 2025! The past 12 months marked the completion of projects near and far, large and small along with historic rehabilitations and new construction. We’re excited to see what 2025 brings.

Emsphere Bangkok designed by [au]workshop. Almost our longest running project: We started the design in 2010 and it was completed in late 2023.
