💪 or Holistic Health and Fitness, is transforming the U.S. Army's approach to health and fitness to enhance Soldiers' performance and readiness for modern combat.
It empowers Soldiers to manage their health, fitness, and well-being, focusing on injury prevention and disease management. Unlike traditional fitness models, H2F is tailored to each Soldier's unique needs, drawing inspiration from Special Forces and professional/collegiate athletics. 🏋️
The H2F System addresses five readiness domains:
1️⃣ physical
2️⃣ mental
3️⃣ nutrition
4️⃣ sleep
5️⃣ spiritual
Recognizing their interconnectedness and the need for Soldiers to optimize all areas to perform effectively. 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️
To integrate H2F into operations, the Army is fielding H2F Performance Teams across brigades, with plans to deploy 50 teams by the end of Fiscal Year 2024 and 111 by Fiscal Year 2027. The National Guard and are exploring ways to provide H2F expertise to their dispersed units.
