I was so honored to have this piece accepted into the 2024 City of Pembroke Pines Art Competition. Opening night was fantastic and the artwork was just amazing.

I told myself that I would never draw a peacock because of the detailed tail feathers but since this one was just its head, it was ok! 😆 This was a lot of fun to create. Used a mix of pastel pencils for the bird, pan pastels for the background and dark gray pastelmat
