404th Army Field Support Brigade

Cast Irons! This will be the last post to this page for the foreseeable future until a replacement is trained and up and running.
These past 8 years at HQS, 404th AFSB, as well as the previous 9 years at AFSBn Lewis Mcchord, have been quite the ride. It's had its ups and downs and I'll def miss the comraderie and the relationships I've built with many of you spanning all of those years, and some even further back. I have decided to take ASCs DRP 3.0 offer, and today is my last day in the office. It's been a real pleasure working with you all and wish only the best in the future.

Team Cast Iron participated in the local JBLM "Fill the ruck" 4 miler at Solo Point. If you've been stationed at JBLM, you know Solo Point is no joke! 💪💪 Congratulations team!

This week the 404th HQs and AFSBn-LM participated in "Cascade Eclipse 25", an emergency management exercise with scenarios based on an earthquake rocking the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Power failures, damaged bldgs etc all played into the scenarios. The Brigade's Crisis Action Team (CAT) sprang into action and set up shop in a predermined alternate location to (successfully) exercise our Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan. Good job team! Apologies for the late post, Cast Irons!! Last week we bid farewell to a true "Iron Major" MAJ Bruce Martin, Deputy SPO. The BDE headquarters will most certainly miss him as he moves on to the I Corps G4 office! Congratulations Bruce!
