Alphie and I are excited to be heading to the Fort Mill Public Library on Saturday, May 9 at 2pm for a FREE interactive storytelling event! We'll talk a little about writing books for children and read from my latest title, I Made These Ants Some Underpants! 🐜🩳

We'll also take a sneak peek at my upcoming book, which hits the shelves this summer! I’m excited about this one, which mixes a fictional fish tale with real-life facts about the clever camouflage techniques that sea creatures use to keep from becoming a snack. 🌊🐙🦈🐡

Well, here's your chance, as Anna Gregoire and I will be hosting an event on the Lindsay Pettus Greenway from 𝟐𝐩𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟒𝐩𝐦 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. We are gathering ideas to create a picture book based on the Greenway, a cool jewel that winds through Lancaster, and looking for children's input! We'll also be happy to answer any questions regarding 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬!

In addition to 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲, we'll have a 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, a 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐞, and fun 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬!

It's a great chance to 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲, and be a part of a 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤!

We'll be at the 𝟒𝟓𝟗 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 access point in 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, and you can park at the Lancaster High Football Visitor Parking Lot! Can't wait to see you out there!
