Hi friends,

For those of you who may not know me personally yet — I’m the owner of The Social Cork Wine Bar, but before I was a business owner, I was simply a woman trying to build a dream while balancing real life.

I’m a CEO, a mother, a wife, a sister, a full-time Fort Mill employee, and most importantly — someone who truly loves people and community.

I grew up with strong New York roots and an Italian family culture where food meant love, conversation, connection, and bringing people together around the table. That part of me never left, even after moving from New York to the Carolinas. In many ways, The Social Cork became my way of bringing that feeling here — a place where people can slow down, laugh together, celebrate life, and feel at home.

As a Brooklyn Italian woman, food and hospitality are personal to me. We don’t believe in cutting corners. Everything we do is intentional — from our homemade clean food with an Italian twist, to our boutique wine selections you won’t find sitting on grocery store shelves.

At The Social Cork, we focus on:

• Fresh, homemade dishes
• Gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly options
• The ability to customize meals with proteins
and add-ons for everyone’s lifestyle and dietary needs

We truly try to create a place where everyone feels welcome at the table.

When we opened our doors four years ago, we were taking a huge leap of faith. Like many small businesses, there were long nights, sacrifices, fears, and moments where we had to simply trust the process and keep going. Small businesses are built with heart, risk, grit, and personal sacrifice. Behind every menu item, event, late night, and smiling face is a real family working incredibly hard to serve their community.

That’s why supporting small businesses matters so much.

We joke that we’re chasing a “small wine bar Michelin star” mentality — not because of size or status, but because we believe excellence, hospitality, food quality, wine knowledge, and genuine customer service matter deeply.

We want every guest to feel seen, appreciated, and cared for when they walk through our doors.

To our loyal customers — thank you. Thank you for four amazing years of growth, support, encouragement, and belief in us. We truly would not still be here without this community.

As we continue growing, one of our biggest goals is expanding our lunch and brunch crowd.
