The blonde fade is real! Here’s what’s actually going on ⬇️
Your hair has warm tones underneath (red, orange, yellow).
When you go blonder or lighter, we lift those warm tones out and sometimes neutralize them with a toner. But over time, they slowly come back in 🙄
And a few things make it happen faster:
👉 Hard or chlorinated water
👉 Heat styling
👉 Wrong shampoo
👉 Sun exposure
👉 Skipping toning appointments
It’s not your fault or a bad color job. It’s literally just how hair works 🤷♀️
Purple shampoo helps. Regular toning helps more. Protecting your hair from heat and sun helps even more 🤎
