True greatness is experienced far too infrequently and by too few people in this world because the vast majority of people aren’t willing to do the work required to achieve it! While some people have the innate ability to be great and balanced at the same time, the majority of the world needs to put everything they have into finding their very best self. The sacrifice, discipline, singularity of focus and the life imbalance required is simply too demanding for most people so they opt for the comfort and stability of a mediocre existence never knowing what was possible. People all too often look at me or others around them in the public domain who have accomplished something special or rare and wonder how it was possible. They feel that type of “success” is out of reach for them. Greatness is not a word that they would ever use to describe themselves or any aspect of their abilities so it eludes them. Instead of experiencing it for themselves, they applaud others for their accomplishments. Countless people walk the earth being ordinary when they are truly meant to be extraordinary! It's hard to see what you are capable of until you start to touch the edge of your true capabilities. Once you get to that edge, you realize it's not an edge at all. Your best self might be buried deep within you. It might require you to become obsessed with finding out what you are capable of! I had to leave normal behind. Once you find the courage to go for it like there's no tomorrow, that so-called edge becomes a never-ending road where you become limitless. While failure will happen on this road, you now know it's just part of the process to your success. Greatness lies within each one of us. The only difference is some people, including me, had the balls to go for it! Stay hard! 09/05/2023
