Lowboy Driver- Class A & Hazmat

Gulf Coast Underground, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Lowboy Driver to join our team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Operate lowboy tractor trailer.
• Haul heavy equipment for delivery to and from the job sites.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• May perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and requirements:
• Valid state-issued commercial driver’s license Class A (CDL).
• HAZMAT X & Tank Endorsement.
• Ability to meet or exceed NEW US Department of Transportation mandated medical qualification requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Gulf Coast Underground, Inc. is looking for Experienced Equipment Operators, Pipelayers and Laborers in Sewer and Water construction to join our exciting team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties for Equipment Operators:
• Operate equipment used at job site such as backhoe and excavator.
• Safe operation of construction equipment around sewer and water pipes.
• Prepare construction site as directed from Foreman/Superintendent.

Job Responsibilities and Duties for Pipe Layers:
• Assemble and connecting pipe systems for water mains, sewers, and drains.
• Inspect the ground, dig pipe trenches, seal pipe joints.

Job Responsibilities and Duties for Labors:
• Assist operator and pipelayers in variety of duties installing underground pipes.
• Perform basic general labor procedures such as shoveling, trenching, grading, lifting and carrying heavy materials, loading and unloading trucks.
• Clean and prepare job sites.

Knowledge/Skills/Ability:
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have own transportation to and from job site.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
