Make me an Angel 🪽 - LOOPING TECHNIQUE BELOW

I thought it would be fun to share how I loop songs. There are a few combinations you can run with depending on what looper, and song you're working with. For this one I run it like this:

For reference my looper has TWO tracks that can run independently or together.

Track 1: Chorus section chord changes but just the bass guitar notes. You'll play full chords on the chorus in real time. Some extra hi hat noises or cymbal splash imitations or open high hat sounds.

Track 2: kick drum, Snare, main high part (simple) the least amount of extra notes the better. The tracks get muddy quick if you try to add to much, especially without precision.

This allows me to play the verse chord changes over just the drum loop on track 2. This also really makes the chorus sound big when that bass track comes in!
