One thing a lot of people will tend to sacrifice in the name of getting an assignment done on time or studying for tomorrow’s big exam is… SLEEP 🛌

Burning the midnight oil once in a blue moon is ok but only if you return to your circadian rhythm. Otherwise you’re asking to be more moody, forgetful, fatigued, and most of all… a severe coffee addict like I once was in early college 🙃

So if you want to always have a sharp mind and a good attitude, make sure to schedule those 7-8hrs of sleep along with what you’re trying to get done each day!! Otherwise you will be like Squidward ⬇️😵‍💫

As the first day of classes inches closer and closer I think it’s important to discuss study habits. Even if your child (or yourself for that matter) studies a topic for just 30min/day they will already be on their way to learning and memorizing what they need to know.

Building this simple habit early on will help them in more difficult and compact studies in the future such as SATs, ACTs, and college level courses. Believe me… once I learned how to study consistently college was much easier haha…
