Six years ago today I lost a special friend, Scott Clair. He was an excellent reporter and writer for the Naples Dailey News and covered our events for years. He loved boxing and we loved him. He had a heart attack while driving and died in the crash. He was much too young. Thinking of you. Rest in peace my friend.

Dr. Allan Fields passed away 7 years ago today, June 9, 2019. He was inducted in the inaugural class of the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame in 2009 and is missed by many. I think of him often, he was a really special person. May he rest in eternal peace.
