Today we celebrate the heart and soul of Fur and Tails Animal Rescue—our President, Carri. ❤️

Most people will never truly understand the sacrifices that come with animal rescue. The late nights, the emergency vet visits, the bottle babies, the heartbreak, the endless phone calls, the sleepless nights worrying about the ones who need help. Yet somehow, day after day, year after year, Carri continues to show up with an open heart and unwavering determination.

Because of her, countless animals have been given a second chance at life. Dogs, cats, horses, and every creature in between have known kindness, safety, and love because she refused to look away when they needed help.

Her compassion doesn’t stop at rescue. She inspires all of us around her to be better, kinder, and more willing to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.

On her birthday, we hope she knows just how loved and appreciated she is—not only by our volunteers, adopters, and supporters, but by every life she has saved along the way.

Happy Birthday, Carri! Thank you for dedicating your life to making the world a better place, one animal at a time. We love you, and Fur and Tails simply would not be what it is without you. 🎂🐾❤️
