But you can harden your vehicle fairly inexpensively, and as long as you follow safe policies in the use of the vehicle, like keep moving. Even a heavy sun shield on your windows, by tinting can provide a level of protection, by making it harder to aim at drivers, and some tints also provide a bit of ballistic protection. Driver training can be key to your survival, if fact it can be the biggest factor to staying alive. This can be a 4 hours class, up to a 3 or 4 day class on how to best survive an attack.
