: Dr. Trevor Elmquist discovered his passion for Ophthalmology during his time as a captain in the Air Force. He later went on to become Chief Resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and Chief of the Eye Clinic at Homestead Air Force Base. Following his time of active duty, Dr. Elmquist made his way to Southwest Florida where he founded Elmquist Eye Group in 1992.
