Hello my beautiful plant lovers and happy holidays 🥰 Previously known as ‘ThatCactusBoy’ I’ve changed my username to stay on brand with the new chapter in my life. Right before our first lockdown in March 2020, I began this business without the prior knowledge that our world was about to turn upside down. For a few weeks, my shop did amazing, I made almost $3,000 in sales in my first month and I couldn’t of been happier with my awesome clientele and the relationships I formed! Within one month my sales declined dramatically after the global lockdown and quarantine, due to everyone losing their jobs and not being able to splurge on plants, as they are not a necessity. So I shut my business down until I felt fit to begin again. So here we are today! Welcome to my new shop, Norman IV Plants 🌱 Tomorrow morning I will be dropping my new site, along with some plants you are familiar with. I hope that you all will bless my business with love and affection, and I promise to keep you at my number one priority! This account really changed my life and was therapy with the amount of traffic and beautiful and kind messages I would receive, so I am very excited to get back to work and reconnect with you beautiful souls! I haven’t had a single order since the day I got mixed up with ‘ThatPlantBoy’ I’ll probably end up closing shop June 24th because I don’t have the funds to pay the Shopify subscription or any money for myself to be made, so I want to say thanks for everyone who’s ordered stuff from my shop in the past few months! It was a fun and interesting learning experience and I hope that maybe one day I can come back and do it again even better. It pains me to say goodbye, but I’m really broke, and have to begin focusing on other ways to make money. Okay UPDATE on this whole Plant Boy thing. Cameron (the owner of That Plant Boy) and I know each-other through my EX who knew him online. I moved back to Florida and needed a job, originally I was asking Cameron if I could work for him back in March. He instead showed me how to build my own business and told me how he wholesaled plants. I was LAZY and copied his shipping policy and contact info, because it was going to be the exact same for me as well and it was already pre written. UNFORTUNATELY my non observant self did not change his email from info@thatplantboy to info@thatcactusboy. Yes our businesses are very VERY similar in structure and name, however I am NOT him. I don’t know him in person, nor do I know what’s going on in his store. It’s my fault I mislead everyone with that email, however look at our hand tattoos. Do you see a difference? Yes?
