This voucher is to pass on to another individual that does not have health insurance or cannot afford to pay cash. May is National Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention Month. Osteoporosis causes 2 million bone fractures every year. This devastating disease affects 4 out of 5 women as well as many men. Fortunately it can be detected and treated with a bone density exam. The National Osteoporosis Foundation recommends testing at age 65 and older, if you break a bone after age 50, if you are a woman of menopausal age with risk factors, if you are a postmenopausal woman under age 65 with risk factors or if you are a man age 50-69 with risk factors.
