From start to finish our lettuce is a labor of love.

Starting in February, 6- 128 cell trays are seeded each week. The seedlings are nurtured until they are strong enough to head to the high tunnel, or the field later on in the year. The plants are then watered and protected from the cold and heat. This means many nights where Kyle has to run out and cover the plants with frost blankets.

Once the lettuce has grown to size, Kyle cuts it by hand each week. He then triple rinses it before drying, weighing and bagging.

Finally, the lettuce can be delivered to your door, or purchased at our farm stand and the Celina Farmers Market, where it reaches your table, to end the journey! 🥗
