Hydra Soldiers and Families,

As we head into a heavy PCS cycle and a period of opportunity leave, I want to ensure there is shared understanding across the formation regarding travel.

The three things I'd like to highlight are the required ROMs (per the COVID-19 General Order #2), PCS leave, and websites for information.

As Soldiers and leaders, please ensure your leave plans put into consideration the appropriate ROM requirements (i.e. overnight stays outside of your residence, traveling outside of 150 mile radius, visitors from outside of 150 mile radius, etc.) and upcoming training events- Gunnery (10AUG-03SEP) and BN FTX (26AUG-03SEP).

For PCS leave, the leave will only include travel days per the Joint Federal Travel Regulations, unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

Lastly, for information, please take a look at the links provided in the travel smart card attachment.

Thank you for remaining flexible and understanding as the conditions continue to change and guidance is updated.

To all Hydra Soldiers and Families,

With the current conditions and a spike of COVID-19 positive cases, to include Soldiers in the Brigade, I understand that there is a growing concern for the health and welfare of our Soldiers and families.

I wanted to share how we as a team can protect the force. The command team and Soldiers are distancing themselves, wearing masks, washing/sanitizing hands when entering buildings, and conducting daily temperature checks. Violation of proper wear of PPE and/or safe practices may result in punitive action.

When a Soldier is feeling unwell, the Soldier is to contact 785-239-DOCS, immediately notify the chain of command, and remain in your residence. First degree contacts to someone tested COVID positive are quarantined for 14 days and second degree contacts are under restricted movement for 7 days.

Aggieville is now off limits to all Soldiers during all hours. Masks are now required on post and off post public facilities for all Soldier Members and highly encouraged for family members.

Please remain safe and vigilant in efforts to protect and preserve our greatest asset - our Soldiers and their families.
