Simply Delicious by Montes

I had the pleasure of making my fiend’s bday cake today.

There is a twist, I was challenged by the order. Her Daughter who ordered her birthday cake, it was a surprise for her mommy and she drew it all by herself. We FaceTimed plenty to make sure her cake was ordered and just like the vision. And today she picked up from my car and made sure her mommy was surprised and she stayed on top of the delivery and time.

She was a hard customer but it came to life and to see her excitement warmed my heart.

Current status!

Every year as kids we used to always get together with my Tia Rosa and my cousins and make dozens and dozens and dozens of tamales! And now being far from family I still make them and realize why we did it. Tons of talk and laughs and drinking and just enjoying time!
