Panda & Tarzan
Panda & Tarzan were rescued pups, a perfect example of "pure breed" dogs someone no longer wanted. My mother Barbara Hawkins helped with the initial rescue in VA until they were relocated and brought to AL. Tarzan had numerous health issues and only lived to be 8, Panda lived to be 13. Average life expectancy for a Newfoundland is 8 to 10 years. Now that my mother and my baby boys are gone, I wanted to maintain Panda Bear page so their memory can live on and they can continue to help other animals.
