When a good ole boy from Eastern Kentucky — who just happens to have his own bluegrass band — needs a little help, this community doesn’t hesitate. Bluegrass folks show up. Every single time. Like it’s their own family. And I’ve seen it happen again and again.

My good buddy Keith Prater of Keith Prater and Lacy Creek has faced more than his share of health challenges these past few years. And just like that, his friends, fellow musicians, and fans rallied around him and his family.

That’s how Cabin Fever Pickin’ at The Pump House came to life.
We had an incredible lineup: Evans Brothers, Rounder Station, Charlie Woods & Deep Hollow, Union Town Bluegrass, and of course, Keith’s own band, Lacy Creek

What an unforgettable night — packed house, hot pickin’, and that unmistakable feeling of community that only bluegrass can bring.

Huge thanks to everyone who pulled this together in less than two weeks, the sponsors who stepped up, and all the wonderful folks who came out for a hootin’ night of great music and even better fellowship.
