Congressman Carter will be honored at the Krewe of Pyros 10th Anniversary Mardi Gras Ball on January 31st, as we celebrate a decade of service, culture, and community impact.

A native of New Orleans, Congressman Carter’s life and career embody servant leadership. From his early work in public service to his tenure in the Louisiana State Senate, and now as a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to equity, opportunity, and uplifting underserved communities. His leadership reflects the very essence of Illuminating The Path to EMPOWERMENT for future generations.

The Illumination Award recognizes individuals whose service, integrity, and vision bring light to communities and inspire meaningful change. Congressman Carter’s dedication to public service and advocacy makes him a truly deserving honoree.
