Spiritually Rooted

Read this and it reminded me of a poem I wrote a several months ago, as armoring up was my response. However, this message was a reminder to open your heart, despite the hurts yet create healthy boundaries when necessary.

To NI (Nickel)

To narcissistically
Ignore

To need
Individuals

To navigate
Ignorance

To note
Improvements

To narrow
Intellect

To neglectfully
Ice

To notice
Illusions

To not
improve

To naturally
Impose

To negate
Ideas

To nefariously
Impact

To nest
Impartially

To nonchalantly
Influence

To next
Interlude

To
NI (element of nickel)

To nickel,
the victim with the spiritual bypassing of light and love

Not knowing the nickeled armor
Is recharging her batteries
To steel and steal your soul

Never to trust another human being again who says, "I got you, sis. "

Got me surrounded in this element that only sees people as coins but claims community
For the colored.

But truly, is the cancer of the culture.

Especially when you only like the people who actually turn colors.

As many of you know a year ago, I took a purposeful pause and walked away from my position as an elementary school principal to open a business where women could be held in community. Spiritually Rooted was born! The women who walked into that door took steps toward finding their purpose, serenity, abundance, love, and learned to extend mercy through sacred circles, human connections, cathartic conversations. Additionally, the were exposed to a plethora of healing modalities that always ended in divine action and movement. I am grateful for the authentic sisterly support and thank you entrusting me in your own healing process. In early spring, I had to have a surgery, which I am still physically healing from and need to take yet another pause to pour into my own healing process. Consequently, I will be closing the physical space the same time it all began last year, at the end of July. However, my circle is full. To be Spiritually Rooted is a way of life. You will still see me doing this work in and for the community. Naturally, I will still extend my services virtually and come to you, as needed. Either way, I remain grounded and connected to my roots. Stay tuned because the fruits of my unrealistic faith will be plentiful.
