We cannot hope for peace and expect that that will be enough. We can create peace within us one little step at a time. Believe me every little step counts. I have been taking them for over 20 years.
This is not an easy practice because we have been conditioned over generations to pay attention to the negative and to focus on it which creates stress. Our thinking creates fear, resentment, anxiety, anger, sadness, etc. - the opposite of ☮️
Peace is possible when we let go. Let go of being perfect, overthinking, comparing, evaluating, judging, etc. and all of this is a practice. We CAN practice this by simply learning to be here now. The holidays are a wonderful time to start because they can be emotionally charged and we tend to forget the true meaning which is love and connection.
