Happy Good Friday, or whatever.

I'm not Catholic. 🤣

Back in November, I had a life event with a person that gave me PTSD.
This led to me creating and holding various boundaries for myself.

This morning, I had an episode that was caused by someone speaking to me the way the previous person had. I read the message and my whole body tensed up. I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane. The tears welled up and I couldn't remember how to breathe.

But what I was able to remember was that I don't have to put up with that from people. I can draw the line in the sand and say "Hey, that's not okay. The way you spoke to me was not okay. And I will no longer stick around to receive it." And then I can cut them out.

In this industry, it's so so so important to have boundaries and hold firm in those for yourself. And when a show producer implies that you won't get booked because of it, send them your calendar. Because it wasn't a problem before, so why's it a problem for you?

KEEP HOLDING YOUR BOUNDARIES AND BOOKING THOSE SHOWS!!!!
