To all who served, who put their lives on the line, who did the work to defend our country - a heartfelt thank you. To their families, we see your sacrifice as well.

It is now our responsibility to honor our veterans not only with kind words on a single day, but with action. We can all live up to the qualities they defended, and in turn offer the opportunities and protections our veterans deserve.

Like so many of you, I’ve needed some time to process the results of Tuesday night. The results were not what I wanted, but they are also not the final chapter. One part of my campaign that I am most proud of was the ability to show people around the district that they are not alone. There are so many of us who want better from our representatives and know how much more can be done. I hope that, if nothing else, I helped light a fire in people that we can make a difference. I will never predict the future, but I am committed to doing what’s best for the people of Southwest Fort Wayne, Columbia City, and everywhere in between.

There are too many people to thank, but trust me, you will all hear from me soon. I would like to acknowledge all the support, hard work, and sacrifice from my family. Without them I wouldn’t have made it through Day 1.

I am still saddened by the results of Tuesday. I plan on taking some time to focus on my family and figure out what’s right for us in the unknown and slightly scary political landscape.

I’m sorry we weren’t able to finish the job and reach the heights we had hoped for. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to reach enough people. I’m sorry I couldn’t live up to my end of the fight.

If I could ask just one more thing of you all - please don’t give up on each other. There are so many people right now who are hurting and scared, and a friendly hand, letting them know they are not alone, could make all the difference. And in the coming months and years there will be even more who become disillusioned or feel lied to. Please take them in with open arms. Because the only way we can fix the hurt so many people feel is through acceptance and finding a new way forward together.

It’s Election Day! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped and supported my campaign. Today is the day we shake up Indiana and start our work of making a difference for Hoosiers.

If you haven’t voted yet, please carve out some time! If you’re in line by 6pm, stay in line! Your vote counts and your voice matters.

One of us will stand up for all Hoosiers, the other one won’t even show up.

I’m the product of public education and I couldn’t be prouder to have to support of our amazing teachers. We need elected officials who are going to fight for our schools and fight for our teachers. It’s time we get politicians out of the way and let our schools and our teachers do what they do best and put our kids first.

This campaign has always been about family. Without the full support of my family I’d never be in this position. And every day as your next State Representative I will work hard to always do what’s best for families of all kinds.

As the campaign nears its end, all Hoosiers have the opportunity to do what too few elected officials have done - make a positive difference. We deserve better, and with our own choices we can remove the politicians who are actively avoiding the job.

No days off until Election Day! I have so much great help as we try to reach everyone in District 83!
