But congratulations on a challenging Black Belt exam but was awesome to see you coach! Osu!

After 3 years of being a jiu jitsu blue belt and 7 of being a bjj white belt i can finally say I've been promoted to puple belt.

i got to compete at this weekend and didn't want to jump into the blue belt division because I wanted to test myself so I asked where i should go. He replied "go win the purple belt division brother!"

Ultimately i placed second in a stacked 6 man bracket thanks to talking me into competing.

I'm so thankful for our affiliation but the last time we had coach here, I had gotten extremely sick and couldn't attend our seminar.

Today, said he just got off the phone with Professor who had seen some pictures of me in the purple belt i had to put on to compete up a division😬 (which I should have been mindful of) so coach proceeds to tell Mike. "Tell Ryan to just leave that belt on and ill give him his certificate in July when I see him." What a surprise!!!

I'm so blessed to have such great coaches and tough students and teammates at and to train with!!

I am humbled and thankful for entire process and journey.. & killed it this weekend as well!!
