The Miss JuneteenthDFW Pageant contestants had a time on yesterday. Full photo shoot for headshots and full body in their fabulous red outfits. We also included a walking session and interview prep. Happy Fourth of July! This Independence Day feels extra special to us as we've been celebrating with Opals Walk 2 DC from the 19th of June to now!

Ms. Opal believes we should be celebrating freedom from Juneteenth to the Fourth of July so we can celebrate the freedom of ALL people! And now that Juneteenth is a federal holiday, this can continue to be a season of celebration and unity every year moving forward.

We hope you enjoy this holiday & remember that we’re celebrating freedom of not just a few, but of all people.

Now that our voices are being heard and the story of Juneteenth is being told, we must use this momentum to continue working towards unity, equality and freedom of all people!
