Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at the first ever Purple Mass this past weekend! We had such a great time reconnecting with Newman alumni and other members of our TCU Catholic community!

It was a great experience attending the Fort Worth Diocese Young Adult Mass! Connecting with fellow members of our Fort Worth community was a meaningful opportunity, and we’re grateful for the chance to grow together in faith!

This semester, we’re highlighting each of our committees and positions within our SLC! Today, hear from our President, Jalyn!

“Hi y’all! My name is Jalyn Gryskiewicz, and I am blessed to serve as the TCU Catholic President this Spring. I am an Early Childhood Education Major from Chandler, Arizona, and I love reading, crafting, and a good chat with Jesus.

As President, I have the privilege of overseeing all that goes on at TCU Catholic as a student organization. This includes leading our Servant Leadership Council (SLC) and supporting our committees to ensure everything runs smoothly as we continue to grow and strengthen our vibrant Catholic community here at TCU. I also manage the TCU Catholic Engage page and send out the weekly email updates you all receive. My favorite part of this role is interacting with our community members and witnessing the Lord’s light shine in our lives. I am here for anything you may need throughout the semester, and I am always praying for y’all!”

Today is the last day to sign up for our LUKE 5:11 Discipleship Group!

Luke 5:11 reads, “When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him.” When Jesus calls Peter follow Him, making Peter His first disciple and later on the first Pope, Peter, along with the other fisherman, “left everything behind and followed him.” This is what Jesus asks of you and me. Luke 5:11 is the name of the newly established discipleship program through TCU Catholic. This might be just what you are looking for.

Are you looking for Catholic community? Do you desire to have a friend to share your faith with? Do you want to get to know your Catholic faith better? Do you want to spend more time in the Scriptures? You are in the right place!

Today, senior .wegner shares her story!

“What I appreciate most about the TCU Catholic community is how uplifting it is. The atmosphere of faith and encouragement makes me feel supported and spiritually renewed every time I’m there. It’s more than just a group; it’s a space that has made me feel truly welcomed, where I’ve experienced genuine connection and meaningful spiritual growth.”
