The Fed is a disaster. Powell was too slow to start rate hikes and asset tapering, and rate hikes are not going to stop out-of-control inflation or its negative effect on consumers in time. Powell doesn’t know what to do other than to hope that this persistent inflation problem will magically become transitory. I spoke about it with Neil Cavuto on Fox Business.
