FCL receives much needed exterior repairs!

We’ve needed to address our building’s tendency to flood. One of our newest board members, Shawn Cowdin of Shawn M Cowdin Construction stepped up to the challenge.

Shawn’s team evaluated our structure and existing concrete. They determined that we needed new concrete sidewalk to be poured in such a way that water will drain away from the library - not towards it.

On Monday, the concrete was poured! Thank you to all of our donors who support updates like these. Thank you also to Shawn and his team for making this project happen.

We will continue to share updates being made to the library - we’re excited to bring you along!
