I would like to take a minute to implore everyone to get out and vote this year. Proposed constitutional amendment 3 is an afront to everything the United States stands for. No person can vote for amendment 3 and call themselves a conservative. Last I check conservatives believed in the constitution and that requires a belief that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Locking up people with no bond who are not only presumed innocent but may very well in fact be innocent for a year or more of their life is offensive. Have faith in the Judges that YOU elected and/or the magistrates they hired to do the right thing in each individual case. This is vitally important to our freedoms. This amendment must be voted down.
