The goal at MSKCC David H. Koch Cancer Center was to construct three endoscopy rooms to support current volumes, with the future potential to convert the space into an ambulatory surgery facility. Our team conducted a thorough review of FGI requirements to support both programs and developed a plan that either accommodates both uses or allows for easy future conversion.

Endoscopy rooms were equipped with laminar flow and low return systems to support conversion to operating rooms, and the team coordinated with boom manufacturers to design a future-ready, reconfigurable layout. https://bit.ly/4fOSO7j
