Introducing our Decorated Giovanni Maggini Cello!

Embracing the ornately stylized instruments of Giovanni Paolo Maggini from the early 1600s, our Decorated Maggini pattern cello by Maple Leaf Strings features double purfling complimented by an intricately carved design into the back plate.

Fully hand-carved with a highly figured Grade AA seasoned spruce top and flamed curly maple back, this instrument is beautifully finished with hand-applied spirit and oil mixed varnish and shaded with a defined edge color pattern and light antiquing. Advanced graduation patterning combined with 4 Strings' signature onsite set-up gives this cello a broad and deep resonance with a bold bass register.
