The Little Roots climber and giant tunnel has officially transformed into a giant igloo, and the blue tarp makes the whole inside glow the coolest winter blue! The kids crawled, explored, and turned it into their own snowy hideout.

And of course… first snow of the year means hot cocoa + snacks at our outdoor table 🧤☕️✨

The first week at Little Roots Forest School has come to a close, and one thing is for certain, we have the most magical group of kiddos! ✨ 🎩

Today, we explored the back woods 🌳and met our beloved chickens🐔 We enjoyed our snack in the gazebo and found a GIANT puffball mushroom! 🍄 In true forest school fashion, the children's imaginations took the lead!! The children decided to paint it which then turned into decorating it with sticks and treasures. THEN, it became a cake…complete with a "Happy Birthday" serenade! 🎶🎂

Can you believe that all of these creative ideas came from the kiddos themselves?! Moments like these we feel so lucky to have families with us who TRULY appreciate the value of true, play-based education. 🙏🥹💚🌻🥰🙌
