I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of recording all vocals. In a typical band, you have separation between fundamental frequencies of many different instruments, making it easy to carve out sonic space for each part. With a fully acapella group all the sources are fairly similar, so you have to work that much harder to get them to all blend and have proper placement in the mix.

Hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to work together again in the future!
