When we purchased this property in 2014, Warehouse B was already over a century old. Built during E.H. Taylor's era and still standing, we weren't about to let it go to waste! The longest rickhouse of it's kind in North America, where every barrel rests on its side the way bourbon has traditionally been aged; this warehouse is positioned right at the edge of our property, meaning folks traveling down McCracken Pike get to see for themselves just how long it is.

What makes this building special isn't just its size. The pitched roof creates dramatic temperature swings on the third floor, and instead of rotating barrels around to even things out like most distilleries do, we lean into it. Those fluctuations are part of how we've learned what our bourbon wants and some of our most interesting work has come out of paying close attention to what happens up there.

Over a hundred years later, barrels are still rolling through these doors. We think E.H. Taylor would approve. 😉
