New Public Housing Development Proposed on Natchez Street

Hi everyone,

We were recently notified that the City of Franklin is considering a redevelopment plan for the existing public housing duplexes along Natchez Street and Acton Street. The proposal would remove the current buildings, eliminate Short Court, and replace them with a multi-story public housing development.

A public meeting regarding the proposed rezoning and development plan will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 7:00 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Complex. This meeting is intended to gather public input before any decisions are made.
