One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Superlite SL-C is the wide variety of possible drivetrains. Not limited to one engine type, SL-C owners have used engines from 4-cylinder VW diesels for a coast-to-coast economy run, to Ferrari V12 engines, with pretty much everything in between, even electric motors! That flexibility in engine selection may have been what led David Mazzei to select the SL-C to showcase his screaming, turbocharged 5-rotor engine, which is featured in the Drive article below.
