Today is National PTSD Awareness Day and to bring attention to the real and lasting impact of trauma on individuals, families, and communities.
Today, we honor and support those living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and reaffirm the importance of compassion, understanding, and access to care. PTSD can affect anyone—survivors, first responders, veterans, and members of our own community—and healing often begins with awareness and connection.
If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Support is available, and reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Let’s continue working toward a community where mental health is understood, supported, and prioritized—not just today, but every day.
