Josephine & Grace began as a brick-and-mortar shop in Frederick 3 1/2 years ago, created as a place to find beautiful, useful pieces and the kind of gifts that feel personal instead of rushed.⁠

Over time, we realized something important. The heart of what we do was never only about what happens in these four walls. It was about helping you celebrate well and choose with confidence. If you haven't heard yet, we've made the decision to shift out of a permanent storefront and into something more flexible, giving you more ways to shop! ⁠

Beginning March 1st, you can shop Josephine & Grace online whenever it fits your schedule. Late night, early morning...from your desk at work 😉 (don't worry, we won't tell!). You'll be able to find us at local events like Martha's Market, Frederick in Flight and more. And soon you'll be able to join us at our own thoughtfully curated pop-ups throughout the year! We’re still very much part of the community. ❤️⁠

At the core, nothing has changed. We believe in well-chosen goods, in gifts that feel considered, and in making the whole experience of giving simpler and more meaningful. No overwhelm. No guesswork. Just pieces you can feel good about bringing into your life or sharing with someone else.⁠

An open letter to our girl Jo ❤️ "Letting go shows us what else our arms were made to carry". In 2006 Joanna Gaines closed the first Magnolia location without knowing what would be next.⁠

Of course we know now what would become of that beautiful idea known as Magnolia and all the lives it would touch and the impact it would have. But at that time, it took a whole lot of bravery and faith, and for that I'm eternally grateful because that's where I am now. ⁠

Sure, we're not entirely closing our brand in the same way. We'll still be here to help you find thoughtful gifts online, at upcoming local events, and our very own pop-ups. But it will be a whole new chapter to journey through without our brick and mortar location which is where it all began almost 3 1/2 years ago.⁠

So we're summoning lots of courage and bravery and strength knowing that even though this next step is the right choice, it's still something new and comes with plenty of things unknown.⁠

As we head into our last week, I wanted to say thank you Jo for laying the path almost 20 years ago that I didn't know I would need to lean on ❤️❤️❤️ Here's to the end of one chapter and the beginning of another! 🥹
