Last week, LFC Alumni brought their friends and family together for the first-ever Trivia & Scavenger Hunt Night at Olde Mother Brewing Co.!

Teams spent the weeks leading up to the event exploring Frederick County's history and landmarks through a community scavenger hunt, then put their knowledge to the test during a Frederick County-themed trivia competition led by Chris Sparks and Carly Lederer

On Friday, April 24 the Class of 2026 came together for their last content day of the year... Arts, Entertainment, & Education Day!

The day started with Quiera Harris and Rashida Kimbrue as they provided a "Leading with Creativity" seminar, followed by an overview of the arts in Frederick County from Louise Kennelly.

The class spent the morning at the Y Arts Center, hearing from local organizations including Soul Street and the County Office of Parks & Recreation, before heading to the Keys Stadium for lunch and a tour.

In the afternoon, the group visited Maryland Ensemble Theatre, took a walk on Carroll Creek to see and learn about public art installations, and took a tour of the Banyan. Finally, they took part in a drum circle hosted by Soul in Motion, Inc.
