We are incredibly happy to hear this verdict! Guilty!!! This was the case that changed everything for our founder Kristen. She was sitting at work when the video of Ahmaud Arbery was sent to her on Facebook. This video was shared by thousands with no cover or warning by Facebook. “There was nothing to be left to the imagination or speculation…it was all right there in front of me…”To finally see some movement in this case and a guilty verdict is a positive thing. This country still has so much work to do but every young person who doll vividly remembers that video as if they were there, will sleep a little easier tonight. 3 white men are found guilty of murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery Travis McMichael; his father, Greg; and their neighbor William "Roddie" Bryan all faced nine criminal counts in Georgia state court, including felony murder, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
