We had so much fun celebrating our amazing team at our staff holiday party! From wooden signs to bags and doormats, everyone got to choose a project they loved, and it was so fun seeing all the finished pieces come together. We’re so grateful for a team that brings so much heart to what they do every day! 🎨🎀✨
A huge thank you to AR Workshop Frederick for such a fun experience! They offered so many great project options, and their team made the whole evening easy and enjoyable.

Our Story
The Learning Bee Child Development Center is considered Frederick’s leader in full and part-time educational childcare and preschool. We are located at 8311 River Run Rd (exit 26 off of Rt. 15) in Frederick, Maryland. At The Learning Bee you child will enjoy an engaging academic curriculum, art experiences, gardening, music, sign language, Spanish, and dance. The Learning Bee is an Accredited learning center and only hires the most highly educated and skilled teachers.
In addition to academics, physical fitness and outdoor exploration is one of our key goals. Children need to move and run. We offer BEAM at The Learning Bee - Imagine giving a child a giant table to stomp, run, jump and learn on. The activity board is “BEAMED” onto the floor and the children actively learn and move doing the 70+ games we offer. Our activity room also offers the children a space for jumping, obstacle courses, climbing and tumbling on our preschool tumbling mats. So even on rainy days, we stay active!
Children are accepted from 6 weeks to 9 years of age. The center has 8 spacious and warmly decorated classrooms with age appropriate activities available to children. There are two separate outdoor play areas designed for different age groups to enjoy year round. At The Learning Bee your child will develop cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. Your child is special and unique and we will treat him/her as an individual, meeting his or her learning potential!
